Fredricksburg Getaway
About 80 miles from our Texas home is the wonderful city of Fredricksburg. It’s a truly Texan despite the influx of tourists. Patti and I stayed 2 nights at the lovely and rustic Winchester Lodge. We just literally walked around and shopped in their unique retail stores. And ate good food. The highlight was breakfast delivered to our room in picnic basket. Have I mentioned I love Texas?
Iceland
So, I was sitting on the couch and mentioned to Patti it would be cool to go to Iceland. Well, in a matter of days we had approved an itinerary that Zicasso Travel had put together for us with a private tour guide. Needless to say it is and incredible spot on Earth and was an amazing trip. The visuals, the food, the people were all extraordinary. And to make that journey with my College Sweetheart and Best Friend was one of the best experiences of my life!
